I have a set of track rims with the RA1s and was planning on using hoosiers on them for the more serious events and using my RA1s for street/ chinsy track events/autox do you know guys running these as a street track combo? How long are they lasting? Whats the true story on Kuhmo mxs and falkin azenis?

Ask Shiv he does it on some of the WRX's he sends to tuner shoot outs and I think I have been told he runs them year round on the car

No way Shiv isnt an accurate barometer for things like this he purposfully breaks things and burnouts and all kinda nutzo stuff. I dont have a personal mechanic to flip the keys too and say fix it or change the tires their slick

well with the toyo RA1 theres been several peeps that run them as a street/ track set up . non shave so they last a bit longer then shaved , so there able to drive from the track back and forth . the only thing is you need to keep an eye on the wear of the tire and flip them if need it , since they will attent to wear a lot faster from the outside . or depending what your camper is set at ..

It won't be a problem to bring them with me...RV can carry anything...

if you drive them out youll probally do a good job heat cycling them which is good.

If it is just driving from my house to the track, I shouldn't experience too much wear...Actually, I doubt it will really matter...I will be the slowest one out there anyways....

driving them out wont heat cycle them well at all esp. with how hot its going to be.

With your V700 dont drive those on the street those are great track tires but if you roll up to SOW on them and back with out shaving them they will be shot.
