Hi All:

I'm considering water injection as a future mod. My initial logic is that I live in the desert (by definition) and yern for the power gains benefited by higher humidity.

What I understand is that water injection reduced intake/engine temperatures. It can reduce carbon build up on valves. I can allow you to run higher boost in lower octane situations (CALF).

I've seen kits that range from 500 - 1500+ depending on the features included and if it's a progressive or absolute spray.

I see that Works has one. It seems a bit expensive and requires a reflash as well.

So anyway, I'm try to pool some knowledge on this as well as any experience that people have had in the past/present.

The link below was one of my faq sources.
