Polyurethane or Metal are available. There's also a 2 piece "under hood" you can replace as well.

Okay, so now i need to decide metal or polyurethane. will metal just last longer? or is it also noticably crisper?

I would get the aluminum. Thats what I use for all 10 pcs....8 pcs on the shifter housing and 2 pcs under hood. It gives a very precise and crisp shift feeling.

Okay, well all I could find was brass and polyurethane, so I'm getting the brass, which might be a bit heavier than aluminum, but should be fine. thanks for the input.
