Just wondering what was in the works for #12. Wouldn't that make it the one year aniversery? The last meet was huge, meaning the turnout of members and vendors. Just my .02, but I'm feelin a cruise maybe on this next one. Show everyone how big SoCalEvo really is.

We are working back to the original schedule or first sunday of every month. But for events like dyno days, we have to go with the shop's schedules.

The SoCalEvo anniversary event will be held as the lucky meet #13 in July. We started the club at the very end of June, but with two months to plan, we want to make the anniversary meet as special as it can be. One hint i can give is the date...Sunday July 25th YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS IT. Now back to discussing this month's meet #12!

Sorry about causing confusion here about the July meet, just wanted to plug that it will not be the one to miss. All the SoCalEvo meets happen on Sundays, and we'll soon be getting back to the first Sunday schedule, but it'a been tough lately to keep them like that because of the vendor/location schedules. It's hard to get back to that schedule as well, because when you have a meet in the last week of one monthe then the first Sunday the very next week? hehehe. But, enough about the July meet...let's talk about the upcoming June meet now (just make sure to mark 07/25 on your calendars) :)

Sorry for the delay, I thought someone was going to jump in on this one here and post. I been kinda busy with trying to plan out details for the EOC event. The dyno day at XS engineering has been pushed at the last mintue back until August. We waited as long as possible to see if we were going to be able to swing it this month, but it isn't going to work out as well as if we do it in August. We'll be able to have more vendors, and BIG prizes for the raffle. XS is really working with us a lot to make it a really big deal. So, the EOC event is still going on Wednesday 30th (tuesday pm 29th--drivers meeting), and if anyone wants to come out and either participate or spectate that come on out. As far as an official SoCalEvo meet, I'm not sure we're going to be able to get one going this month unless you all want to meet up at one of the regular spots like Tustin again. It's really hard planning these things, we have a HUGE event for the July meet (1 year of SoCalEvo!!!!) and following it up with a HUGE deal at XS in August. There are only a few of us and we get spread thin, so please go easy on us guys, sorry we couldn't come through for this month, but it's for the better trust us on that piece. So, if anyone wants to suggest an impromptu meeting place time and day, please post away and we can all figure something out to throw together quick style. Once again, sorry peoples!

How about an LA meet! I have heard only good things about the one you did have and the milibu canyon cruise, that would always be fun. Or how about an Angeles Crest run, I know its far, but this time of year would be killer. I would prefer a meet somewhere outside the OC, ya know. My .02

Thats why I recommended an LA meet. It gets kinda boring when I wake up 5 min. before a meet and just drive across the street to get there. Unlike most, I enjoy driving my ride, even if it meets racking up the miles.

awjunkies haven't had any probs with SD police...

a cop rolled into our meet last night and started BSing with everyone, even popped his hood so we could see the montrous crown vic engine...

If anyone is interested in doing a SD meet as one of the big SoCalEvo meets then I can help out a bit in planning or scouting out a location. Just let me know what kind of venue you want it to be.

I second the above post. I went to the first SD meet (for me) last night and it was pretty good. A cop rolled through very early on, saw that nothing bad was happening, and moved on. Later, the cop popped his hood, etc. No biggie. Same ol' rules apply: No burnouts, no idiocy.

AHHH Beev...making friends again I see. No wonder, every single SoCalEvo meet or EOC event, someone comes up to me and says "Where's that Bevo kid at?"

I have had no problems with San Diego Police. They have all been pretty cool to me. A few have even complimented my car.
