Mobil 1 on sale..

Last night i went to pick up some oil for the oil change. I grabbed a box of 6 and took it to the register. The girl charged me 14.99. I was surprised. I asked her whats the story and she said mobils having a sale because of thier 30th anaversary. I dont know if its just this store (autozone) but you guys that do oyur own oil change might want to pick some up. Maybe this store put the wrong price on them. I told the store clerk they are normally 30 bucks but she stuck with her story so ill stick with her story too. I bought 3 boxes (18 q.) for 48 bucks.

naw there WAS a sale. when i called to ask, the guy said that he would check to see if the sale was still on. he said it was over, but he said they have a sale on castrol, if anyone wants that.

The general feeling from most people is to use either a Mobil1 filter or the factory filter. HB Mitsu, Tuttle-Click Mitsu and Norco Mitsu all give 15-20% discounts in their parts departments if you mention that you're part of SoCalEvo (or SoCalDSM)

Hasn't Tuttle Click Mitsu gone out of business ? When I looked from the 5 freeway today a huge Tuttle Click Dodge sign was up there instead.

Price update, just picked up a 6 pack of Mobil 1 at Costco for $22.86
But, they did charge me something called "Oil charge" which was an add'l 27 cents per case.

They still have the calendars, but the freebies are no longer valid (changed to buy one get one free). The Mobil 1 remains unchanged so the buy 3 get 3 still stands. however, it is no longer 3.99 a quart but 4.99 a quart. Still a good deal.

all pepboys in oc have a special on mobil 1 for 3.99 a quart. good til the 18-19th i believe.
