How do the 225 fit on 17x8 rims? I read somewhere that Falken does not recommend them due to the weight of the Evo... but the 245x45's are just way too big. Plus, they won't even fit on my car... (rear tires are slightly tucked).

I have heard good things about 225 Azenis.. but just wanted some feedback from those who run them. How does the ride feel compared to the Advans? I know the 245's are real squishy cause of the big sidewalls... but what about the 225's? Is there a noticable difference in grip?

I have read lots about the 245's but not much about the 225's.. any feedback would be appreciated.

some guy on evoM said that he asked Falken, and they recommended the 245's for EVO cause the 225's don't really support the EVO's weight. i'll send Falken email and report back...

no he dosent have 225, is it just the tire that wont support the weight? cause I know STi run 225 with identical weight.

I heard it was for that specific tire that they are referring to. I've sent them an email regarding this.. i'll post their response when i get it.

I got the 245s after everybody here said they were just as good as advans, after having them for 5,000 miles, let me be first to tell you they suck compared to the advans, some people drive harder then others i guess

the more I drive them the more I like them the Key is REALLY low air preasure then they grip better than the advans although turn in suffers.

I had the 225 falkens on my subie and like he said.. lower tire pressure owns in the azenis... the 3 ply sidewall on the azeniz makes it stiff enough to handle low pressure...
