Hello all,

Getting a Evo within a few weeks.

Got a offer from Monrovia Mitsubishi for $32,000 OTD. That's upfront pricing without negotiating.

What do you guys think? This is for an regular 04 EVO8.

What would I expect to pay for a regular EVO or EVO + sun option.

Thanks for your help.

04's here in ohio has a $3000 markup from sticker, which is ridiculous, but I haven't seen any 04's bought either. I would just wait until you can pay sticker for the car.

Ok I would do this.........do you think this car is gonna move?
Are you 100% sure you are not waiting on an 05?
If so then maybe wait for them to start getting 05's in and score a much better deal on this then left over 04.

or look at the options that the new 05 models will have, ACD and front LSD. I think is worth the wait (if you don't have an Evo)

I got my '04 Evo VIII in July for $29K from Santa Monica Mitsubishi. Those guys originally had a $15K markup! I asked the salesguy what he was smoking. I asked him how he could sell it at that price and he said, "we're in Santa Monica, what do you expect". After haggling, got it down to $29K which is about $1k above invoice. I also had the service manual thrown in with the price i paid.

You can get a better deal than that. I'd say around 30k OTD is good.

Where would I call to get these 29K OTD deals? Do you guys have the dealer/sales person name?

HB Mitsubishi called me back today. Said 29,500 + TL which will come out a little under $32,000.00

thanks for all your help.

www.carsdirect.com is showing the following prices for the 04 Evo:
Target*Price:
$27,394
MSRP*Price:
$27,394
Invoice*Price:
$26,055

If you want Sun, Sound and Leather Package it's 2,550 more
Target*Price:
$30,594
MSRP*Price:
$30,594
Invoice*Price:
$29,095
Just print that info out and show the dealership. Tell them to take it or leave it.. Consumer Reports is another good site to get info on what the dealer actually paid and all the rebates they get. Good Luck!

Too bad they don't have the MR posted on that site. I'm curious as to how much they'll say it goes for.

I got mine for just under $30K OTD wait for a good deal, they'll eventually cave. Mine hadn't been sitting on the lot or anything, in fact, it arrived 2 days after i talked to the salesman about it, and I picked it up with 9 miles on it....

the 05 with front LSD, does that have ABS too cause i read that the RS's dont have ABS because it is too much for the comp to handle.

hey guys, just joined up. getting mine this week, hopefully. i'm getting quoted for 28K for an '05 (price before T+L). sounds like i should haggle down a bit further, or is that unrealistic? also, what are your APR rates?

I was just at Browning Mitsubishi on saturday. they had an 04 evo w/ sun roof and leather for 32k. Seems reasonable that if the one you are looking at has all the bells and whistles, then it would be comparable. Personally I would wait and see if I could get an MR, though your chances would be slim.
I paid 32k for my 03 and I paid 6k to get out of my 03 Dakota R/T. I had to have this car!

Your right Texas is a bit far, but since we live here in southern cali-e we havr been slated the most EVO, they just sell better here
