The starter motor works fine but the solenoid that pushes the starter against the ring gear on the flywheel is jacked up...

The extra half second of cranking with the EMS doesn't lead to killing the starter in under a month.

i just got back from the valley meet...i don't know if i'm gonna go anymore. there's no problems with the cops(unless you're doing something stupid), but it's turning into a lowrider show lately and it sucks. i was actually excited to see an orange civic tonight because it was better then the 84 monte carlo with daytons parked on my left and the purple el camino on my right with 22" gold daytons. i would rather come meet up with you guys just to meet some cool car people in the conejo. enought running my mouth for now...peace.
