Excellent.

On a side note, I was planning a similar fate for my Recaro seat(s) if they were ever replaced.

yeah, i was thinking about doing it around 4months ago, but didn't know if the bride caster worked. just read that it was the bride castor.
:D

hey muramasa,

did you have to modify the seat in any way for the bride caster to work?

also, was it a pain in the ass to get the stock sliders off of the seat?

thanx,
john

Yes it was a very big pain. RB Motoring took ages and the bolts had that blue thing on it. The caster bracket took a while and u need spacers for the chair.

I can't tell if I like it or not.

I mean, I like it. If you gave it to me, it'd be one of my favorite things (no doubt).

But I don't like it. No way I'd take one of my seats (extra or not) and do that to it.

Looks SIK though. Nice job!

That chair looks pretty comfortable...

You could probably take it off of the stand if you really wanted too later....

Nice work....

How Much and how long to do?

any chance of you posting a how-to thread?

Muramasa

*faint*. all i know is it requires a really buff person. lots of buff tools and determination.

most of the hex L shaped screws that the shop used got twisted. the bolt itself suffered no damage but the tool went into a spiral. Its those big fat hex tools also. It just depends on the chair basically. As long as it doesn't have alot of the blue stuff on the bolt, its easier to take off. Other than that, everything is easier compared to that. Spacers, the caster, and wala!! =)

You can order thru RB Motoring. Maybe Rob can get them too. I haven't asked them. My price was $150 for that. I don't know how much labor would be and you need a couple of spacers. =)
