Just found out that I can get high octane fuel for a reasonable price. 111/113 octane gasoline for $5 a gallon, or 118 octane gasoline for $6 a gallon. Minimum 55 gallon drum purchase w/$20 drum deposit. I'm not selling it, but I would have to be the middle man the first time.
You would have to have a truck to pick up drum. can't be delivered or shipped. sorry.
On Monday I will look in to 100 octane as well.

What brand fuel is this? $6 a gallon sounds a little cheap for good fuel. Definately interested though.

didnt get a chance to go next door and check on the specifics (12 hrs at work) I will go tomarrow.
The place I'm getting it from is the General Patrolium fuel dock. General Patrolium might be Mobil (not sure). this dosn't mean that it is mobil fuel though.

I will get the info tomarrow for sure..

didn't someone who worked as a fuel transporter say that all fuel was the same except some companies like 76/chevron etc put additives in their fuel? So who cares. It's not like arco is worse than 76, its just that i think arco uses the same truck to transport lets say 87 then it used that truck to transport 91 and there are still dozens of gallons of 87 left in the tank when its filled with 91. I might be off.

From what I hear, talking to several people that race religiously, race gas is not created equally. Many professional drivers will state certain brands are better than others especially on the leaded end. I can only go on what others have experienced.

Here's the scoop.
F&L racing fuel
105 octane $5.50 a gallon/unleaded
111 or 113 octane $5.00 a gallon/leaded
118 octane $6.00 a gallon/leaded.
55 gallon minimum.
