What do you think about these tires?
Any input would be greatly appreciated....

I have been running T1-Ss in 245/40/18 for about 5 months now. They wear great (someone commented that they look new), they grip very well (I haven't been able to test ultimate grip since I have tracked or auto-xed them yet), and they are a lot quieter than Advans. If Advans were made in 18", I would have bought some, but these are a good second choice.

have you consider the BF KD's , thats my next tire that i will be looking at 255/40/17 (i will need to roll the rear fenders) my second choice might be the azenis or the T1-S are great tires. What im looking for is something that can compare to the advans and KD's offer that same performance.

i need some tires can last longer than that!

I also am running the Toyo T1-S and they are everything Chris in SD said they are - lower noise, cheaper than stock and I believe they grip nearly as well as the Advans, but wear longer. I am running them on the stock wheels and have no complaints to date.

HOw do you figure? The Azenis actually have longer treadlife... I drove 21k on my first set of advans with multiple track days and tofu runs.

I would imagine at least twice as much. I plan on 25,000 or so with these tires. I had 15,000 on my Advans when I sold them to a friend. They were still in excellent condition.

Absinthe---IF you have the azenis sports I would get something else for the rainy season...

My azenis sports are still in good shape and ill be keeping them for next year...

They are a big mistake on any wet roads at any speed...

Dont risk messing up your evo on those tires man.... Not worth it...

The T1-S are great in the rain.

What I meant about the mileage is that if you got 6,000 from the Advans, expect about 12-15,000 from the Toyos.

i have the T1-S in 17's. They are less grippy than the advans in street driving.

I agree but they are pretty close to them. I paid $640 for install mounting and balancing in Atlanta. The Adavns are $714 from tire rack plus $100 in shipping and another hundred in mounting which is around $900 installed compared to toyo which is $260 price difference for tires with treadwear of 220 vs 150 for advans. I

The Toyo's are not that loud and get sticky when they are warmed up.
