EDIT: 11-08-04 I can get u guys headlight overlays in clear, black, yellow and light blue {looks clear with a hint of blue} for just $45 or $65 installed with the same material as the tails {SC Clearbra rubber material} These are PERFECT for u road racers who tape up ur headlights. U can have these on, they will protect ur headlights as well as look great.


Price just dropped to $70 do it urself or $85 installed. Well I finished working on the new tail light mods. This can be done to the headlights as well. It's a nice new plastic material that not only looks sexy, it protects against damage fron scratches/ chips etc. Works great to deflect rocks etc. from headlights at track days and any other time ur driving. It's made of the same material you see on those clear bumper bra's. I can do it in clear, yellow and black. Nice glossy finish, no dull ghey look. NO wrinkles and it looks like paint. the cost will be $80 installed on the tails and i dont have pricing for headlights yet. No need to remove headlights or tails from the car to install. Nope, the break lights are perfectly visible even durring the day and the reflectors works fine. If these were on the headlights though, i think it would be a possible fixit ticket but they are 100% reversable so incase u ever want/need to take it off its not hard and will go right back to stock.

a few LAPD and CHP have seen me, no problems so far. besides ive seen million of ghetto tacos and suvs with pitch black tails. Mine are legal anyway. The law requires visibily of the break lights at 500 feet. They are plenty visable.

im not smoking my heads for 3 reasons.
1. I love the way i blacked them out and dont wannt cover it.
2. It would reduce headlight visibility by about 20%
3. Possibly get pulled over.

By the way, the smoked tails are LEGAL. I interviewed officer Carter last night and he agreed that they are perfectly legal, ill post a pic of a night shot for u guys so u can see how bright the tails are at night.

thats $70 installed now. If u wanna try it urself its $60 not too hard to install.
PS. this material is not liek other overlays u have seen. It's a kickass material and very expensive. Oh and they are cut PERFECTLY to fit our tails and even have handles for u to hold onto so u dont get finger prints on them.

well apparently the tails adhesive is different from the headlights. So i dont want to work on anyones car untill i have experience with this. So tail light painting mods are on hold at the moment. Luckily i think i have my OEM matrix tails and ill practice on those.

Nope. Can't get this material in red. U can still get the cheap stuff though. And they only cost like 20 bucks. There is a HUGE difference in the quality though. If they ever make this material in red, ill be sure to get it for u guys. If u guys want it right away there would have to be a group buy of like 100 people. Otherwise the roll costs too damn much.
