How about it OC guys?

Idea..... CONVOY TO TURBO EVOLUTION IN CHINO?

Meeting Where?: IN & OUT Tustin Marketplace

When: Sunday Oct 24th - 9:30am assembly....10:00am DEPARTURE from IN & Out

How: 261-241 TollRoad (Estimated cost each way is $3.25 - $3.75)

Why?: For the fun of caravanning with other evo's.

Leader: Anyone who has been there.....(I haven't) or we draw straws and follow Mapquest directions after we get off the FWY.

*As with most convoys... you can have fun and the intention is to get there without any
hassle from the police. IF you are intending to race there up the hill
at 100+ or weave all over the place do it away from everyone else so
the rest of the group doesn't have the possibility to get pinched for a speed contest ticket / wreckless driving. Its your car yes..... and do what
you want with it.. just try to keep it cool for the rest of the members. Peace

Important TOLL ROAD INFO

$3.25 total one-way toll fees estimated based on

To first enter the Toll Road you need to have EXACT change. .75 cents (no pennies!) Just bring a $1.50 in quarters for THIS PART just in case.

It looks like it would be easier for us to enter the toll road from PORTOLA (ref below) rather than Irvine Blvd.

The next toll is collected at Windy Ridge ($2.50). There is an attendant here so you can pay with cash and receive change.

Actually, there is another way to get there avoiding the toll road. You take Jamboree all the way inland. Turn left on Santiago Canyon (NOT Chapman Ave - which is also called Santiago Canyon if you go right- it's the street after this one). Then turn right on Cannon. Cannon becomes imperial highway and goes right on to the 91.

i just hate the tolls. and since jamboree runs right next to the toll. Im sure everyone else will want to take the toll. I could just use to $4 for gas or something. hehe. see ya there.
