Yeah, I had to drive around like crazy around town and on the way to Nevada at under 5000 rpm, in order to accomplish my break in period before I got to the track. :lol:

Break in periods are BS on modern engines. 4G63 is bulletproof. But I stayed under 5000 rpm for the first 750 miles. Also, I changed the synthetic oil at 300 miles to get rid of any metal shavings.

So recommended break in is 1000 miles under 5000 rpm? Close enough for government work. :skid:

Wow good way to break it in. Maybe im too nice to my baby. I kept her under 3500 for the first 1000 miles. N then under 4 till 2k miles. N not over 5k till close to 3k miles. Its hell not boosting though when its right there beggin to be opened up. lol
