Dealer told me that I shouldn't wory about rear diff fluid change now, but I keep on hearing many that change them early. I'd like an install help on gear fluid change or where can I get info how to change it.

Someone on EvoM did a write up of the TC and the trans but not the rear diff.

It's not hard to do but if you're doing it on the ground it's a PITA. If you can get it on a lift, that's the best way to do it.

Just to add. As soon as my oils get in (during the week) I'll be changing all my stuff out. If I don't forget I'll do a how to.

good thing to do, i changed mine at mark's place but then needed a 24mm socket for the rear, ended up doing in my apt garage... don't even need to lift the car. make sure you have a gear oil pump though, and the redline bottles are not friendly to the ketchup bottle pump style gear oil pump so you either cut the top off the bottle or extend the straw on it.

Be sure to have your car on 4 jackstands. its better to have the whole car in the air to keep it level.

This is the writeup I followed when I did mine .....

It does not need to be changed until 15,000 under the "severe" maintenance schedule. I did mine at 13,000 just because I was bored.

just to let you know... for the front diff... you should jack up the front pasenger side. and for the rear diff you should be on a forward incline to get max fills.
