I got a call from south coast Mitsubishi on Friday and
They were trying to get me to trade in my evo for an
mr at sticker price. They supposedly had some sale
on saturday. I'd check them out?

call Adam at bakersfield Mitsubishi at 661-398-9422 and tell him Justin Cummings with the silver evo 8 sent you. he'll get you an MR at a couple hundred over MSRP.

I went to South Coast Mitsu last Friday, they had a white, red and a gray in the showroom. $5000 markup for the white and red, and an amazing $9999 markup for the gray.

when i was there buying my '04 on saturday, HB Mitsu said they would sell their grey MR on the showroom for MSRP to a local resident. I'd check them out they're all pretty cool there.

Thousand Oaks Mitsubishi, and Miller will sell at sticker. Thousand Oaks has no mark up. Miller will try and get a mark up, but if you insist they will eventually  sell for sticker, but expect a lot of sales bull. TO has a white one...Miller has white and silver

Brian, LOL..

Here's the story-> EVO 8->STI->S13->EVO 8 MR. I am actually dedicating this car to track only, so I hope it serves me well

STI was slow btw, even with stage 2 upgrades

slow as in quarter mile, overall hp, overall feel, delivering tofus? What was the diff in ur opinion.

The STI was very strange.. It seems it had plenty of torque, but no delivery. It seems that the ratio of the 6 speed tranny is not what it should be, as it takes longer to reach both spool and top speeds. I do think it has plenty of potential, and was also a very well balanced car.

Sucked ass at delivering tofu's..water spilled everywhere.. LOL

How do you feel about the VIII vs the MR?

rubelcon

My VIII ran very strong, so I cant compare this thing yet until I break it in.. which sucks.. 2972 miles to go..
