hello again...can any of you help me find some good carbon fiber hoods, that fit pretty much perfectly if not perfectly? any info would be helpful, so far the only make i've heard that is good at making hoods is VIS. I heard of carbontrix but i dont know if they fit nicely. if any of you know any other makes that would fit perfectly the information would be helpful.
Thanx

Get VIS. I installed it myself in no time. It even has the holes for the windshield squirters. The quality is nice, as well as the fit. I spent less than $600 for it.

I got mine from streetconcept.com fits perfect and I only pay 400 dollars.
I bought VIS parts before and the quailty are the same 100% the same....

so give them a call, and save money there.

Go to Roadracemotorsports and look into the NIN hood best fitment color and strength IMO, Mine has been on two EVOs and through many track days you can also see the hood in GT$)'s gallery Page 10 EOC event #2 just look through the album.

what does NIN stand for? How are they affiliated with RRM / Carbontrix?

Do any of these actually weigh less? I have lifted a CF hood that weighed more than the stock aluminum hood. I would love to get a CF hood, but only if it is at least a little tighter.

Thanks

The rrm hood is lighter.

Thank you. Decision made.

Sparco has the nicest setup, in my opinion, but I am not willing to sell my house for a dry carbon hood and trunk. Their setup is big $$$$.
