well intakes are known to lose a little hp without tuning, but you bought the worst intake on the market and thats a big reason why.

buy TB, drop in filter, boost and egt gauge, safc, 720cc injectors, mbc, and 255lp fuel pump and have Scot Grey from RRE tune it.

Bevo likes small injectors... they hurt his booty less.

I went to the dealer and they almost charge me $87.00 bucks for diagnose, and I'm not sure what is the problem now, I will know by next tuesday.
BUT belive me guys from all these BS that I went through its not worth to change the intake, not sure with another brand but for sure K&N is sucks

HKS kicks ass!

Plus it is loud.

I love my HKS RS kit. But I've often wondered why they spend the time to polish the outside of the pipe, but not the inside?

(it's a cast pipe so it's rough on th inside)

I'd think a rough surface on the outside would disapate heat better/smooth on the inside would aid flow when fuel is not involved and reduce turbulance

I'll have to bust out the sander one of these days....

I'm trying to figure out this guy's problems when the MR just came out... How is the stock airbox so bad when he is still stock??

It should run fine and the dealership shouldn't be charging anything - that should be looked at under warranty.

maybe he forgot to put a hose back on or something is leaking boost, dont MR's have those ugly mitsu gauges? tell us what your boosting.

no every host is tight now, I checked more than 3 times, but ok..

I dont know where to start, but ok I put eveyrthing back to stock, and I did check all the hoses, not the BOV produce somekind of sound, the sound is good, but it shoulnt make anysound since its OEM plastic BOV right ?

and you know when u drive your evo when its reach 3000-3500RPM the turbo spool and u start feel the pull, now I DONT.

Yes I have the MR, comes with tiny gauges....if I try to focus on that gauges = accident.

Damn, why do people insist on changing their intake when the car is stock. A drop in filter will be just fine for you. Try research a bit before buying parts, it will save you money in the long run. There are plenty of threads on multiple forums warning against the use of the K&N.

IMO, just sell the darn thing since its relatively new and hopefully its not dirty and buy something else.
