Looking for a salesperson that will sell a buddy a 05 gsr for 30k. He will buy tomorrow if it can be done, willing to sign the papers right away. He decided on an evo instead of a G35 but will buy the infinity if he cant get a good deal. Looking for black or silver. Thanks.

i know he probably doesn't want anything to do with an 03, but i believe that HB is selling some leftover (brand new) 03s for $26K.... pretty good deal.

i personally don't think its worth buying an '03 because of depreciation purposes. Even though its "new" value will be dramatically reduced since its 2 years old already.

that may be true, if you were intending to sell it i the near future. i think that in the long run it doesn't matter. i *intend* to keep my evo for at least five years or more.

plus the initial price difference is quite substantial. then again, the 05s have the front limited slip, or ayc of something right? that's a pretty big thing.

If you buy a car later in the year (or in this case almost 2 years after it first hit the salesroom), when you sell it, you will probably have the lowest mileage evo on the market. So you might get more than any other 03' evo out there.
Just another way to look at it. I personally think the smart thing to do these days is find an '03 for dirt cheap.

done bro...30K for an evo 8, not an MR?? easier said than done bro, have him come to my work...ontario mitsubishi, im working from 10am to 5pm...look for the only salesperson with an EVO there, name's Terrick, have him ask for me and ill hook him up...if you need more info PM me or have him call me.

I can vouch for this guy. If he said 30k he'll get it for 30k guarantee. "not including taxes."

03 or not an Evo is still an Evo. if he is concerned with payment among other things, then he shouldnt even be looking at an evo in the first place.

that said a lot of factors affect the final price of the vehicle, im sure he can geta 30K GSR trim car, getting approved and actually ending up with a final price with tax and license is a whole nother issue

Takashi

i dont think being able to afford it is an issue since he's debating between this and a g35. plus we don't know if he's looking to get a gsr for $30k otd or what.... more details would help.

Miller is pathetic. He called them told them he had a good offer and Miller said they would match it. He went down there and the salesperson told him there was a 6k mark up and that they would lower to sticker because they are helpful. Yea right. Todey Mitsubishi in Ventura were very helpful and gave him a really good price break. He was out the door with the new car in 2 hours. For those thinking of Thousand Oaks Mitsu, they are a joke. Idiotic, rude and useless. Todey is the way to go, Ive bought two cars from Todey and their sales team is top notch

Damn that's fast. Took me 3+ hours for my Evo. I've been car shopping a bunch of times with my parents, my bf, and for myself, and the shortest I've ever had was probably with the Evo. Lucky bastard lol :P

I just bought an 05 EVO (no Sun and Sound) 2 weeks ago from Tustin Mitsu for $31600 out the door...tax and license INCLUDED....yup...

talk to Fred (internet sales manager), if anyone is lookin to purchase....did everything via email and was in and out in less than 2 hours...most of the time was spent doing paperwork and them preppin' my ride for delivery....

also picked up a set of 4300 HID from xenondepot.com. ...looks sweet...got the HID's, front and rear LSD, and the ACD....but no intercooloer spray though... :( ...

Miller can be difficult to deal with, but they will give you a good price if they think you are a serious buyer. I bought my MR from them. Over the phone they said MSRP, and tried to hit me with a $6000 premium when I got there. I told them no way, argued with 3 layers of their management and then got up to walk away and the price went back to MSRP. They will sell for MSRP or less but you have to be willing to "negotiate" with them. Thousand Oaks will sell at MSRP or less, but their sales staff have no clue about the car and have limited selection. Todey, wanted $5000 over sticker for the MR over the phone and said it was non negotiable. So, I guess it's six of one thing and half dozen of another.

Most of these dealers will try to get an extra buck from you. It's up to you not to give it to them.

TO will not sell for less then MSRP. We discussed it with them for an hour. My friend was a serious buyer he brought a deposit with him, he did end up buying on that day. When I bought my Evo it was a 15 minute negotiation at Todey(invoice) and 30 minutes for all the paperwork and final signing.

i'll second this 100%. i bought my lancer and my gf got her eclipse from todey. i went to thousand oaks to look at a ralliart, and i could have gotten a new evo for less at Todey. thousand oaks is a bunch of crooks.
