im planning one as a beach meet, but it will be a strictly RSVP meet (i.e. if you arent invited, you cant come) but that doesnt mean we exclude other cars who may want to come that are cool.

Doesn't Jimmy "ReHeat" usually volunteer to put these together? I stress the word volunteer... He unfortunately sacrified a radiator at the Autobacs meet.

Lets get some ideas going in addition to Macky's meet. January's is short notice so we can't expect a big "organized" meet. February is more feasible to plan for from now... but....

Formula for a good meet... FOOD+SHELTER (from sun /rain) + Freebies MINUS POLICE hassle.

1) We've done a lot of OC and one? LA meet? (Fudds?)
Mileage can be a bitch.... but it didn't stop the San Diego guys from driving up all the other times.... why not go there to kick off 2005 and return the favor?

2) Same idea but in LA if the guys in LA can come up with a easy location...

the meet is at a secluded place, literally a foot off the beach, there is a small park, no fee parking, and space for approximately 20 cars. its a public park so its first come first served.

lets finalize a date, has to be a weekend, possibly the last saturday of january. after lunch or morning doesnt matter, and if we can make this a sort of potluck. suggestions?

rules: strictly no showoffs, no revving nor any caveman antics with the cars (burnouts, etc) we dont want to get kicked out of the park. if you do these, we will ask you to leave.

The regular meet that the moderators are planning for january (for all sakes and purposes) is still going to happen, and this isnt meant to take away people from going to that meet.

FYI, I live in the Antelope Valley where canyon roads are a plenty. Also close to LACR and Willow Springs. If all you flat landers like getting high (2'800' altitude) we have the canyons to carve. Just a thought.
