Maybe this quetioned has been brought up before, but is their any real noticeable diffences with this in your car? Well, for $44 dollars (Mach V) is it worth it to cut up some of the plastic trunk components to have this installed. I know this makes your car stiffer essentially, but is it worth it? :?

My rear feels pretty tight. Im sure it does make some difference unfortunately i dont have nething to judge it with. Ive never really gotten on a GSR in turns to notice a difference. Boosted upgraded his rear strut in his rs to a cusco strut and said he felt a major difference so maybe u should try a cusco trunk brace. Its possible its stiffer and its possible the oem pieces have some flex to them.

its going to make a little difference nothing major, if you want to feel a difference get a 25mm sway bar.

It was like $23 on mitsubishiparts.net + shipping (i also ordered a bunch of oil filters) and it doesn't require any cutting unless of course you want to keep the plastic piece in the trunk. I took it out after before installing the bar and never put it back.

Well, if anybody has a stock RS Trunk Bar laying around, new or used, I'll take it. Toss me a pm.

I picked up an rs trunk bar for my mr over at norco for $26 with the bolts. It took a bit of trimming to get the bar to fit with the plastic trunk lining. Now that its been in for a while I can say I dont notice much of a difference. I dont track the car, but in my offramp shenanigans I havent notice the brace, imo. But it never hurts to have an extra brace in the car, especially when it weighs all of 2 or 3 pounds with the bolts and only costs $26.
