Just was wondering if anyone here has a turbo timer? Wanted to ask you if it interferes with your factory "alarm". I was gonna have a turbo timer installed but I was told it inteferes with the alarm. So, I'm just gonna save $500 bucks to get an alarm system with integrated turbo timer. But not sure what to do yet.

I have the Apexi TT and will use the factory remote to lock the car while it is still running on timer mode. I did notice that if I leave the head lights on while in timer mode, the lights will not turn off automatically when the ignition shuts off. Other than that, all works fine.

Theres an alarm that I might buy that comes with a turbo timer. It also allows you to turn your car on with the remote. Runs about $550 installed. I might go w/ that to avoid all the trouble.

I have a compustar 2 way paging alarm and the turbo timer worked brilliantly. You just have to put it into what's called reservation mode. Which is foot on brake, release, pull the ebrake and make sure you're in neutral and then take out your keys. Then you are fine. Only problem is it's always a constant 3 minutes....so that can get kind of annoying.

if your car doesnt lock when the timer is on you need to swap the ig1 and ig2 wires from the timer.

i dont know if all are the same but i assume they have ig1 ig2 12v ground and idle speed off the unit
