As a newbie I have been voraciously reading many of the old threads and it seems that people's understanding of suspension geometry is either superb or laughable.

For those of you interested in a refresher, here is a good Article (http://www.ozebiz.com.au/racetech/theory/align.html) on the subject written in common terms.

Enjoy,
Nick

Here is an interesting article on Caster (http://www.ground-control.com/?D=51f2dd6e82fbe390283249c1a2ca81d8) . Prior to reading this I had always asked my alignment guy to dial in as much caster as possible ....might want to rethink that...

haha its all am atter of balance you can have a car set up with as much caster as possible which may be best in certain situations but you have ot remember adn consider the results of this when you car is under load ina turn these things can completely change things like the contact patch between your tires adn the ground

mmm too much caster will give you slower steering response... but it will give you less movement when braking. you gott get the right amount.
