For starters do I in no way suggest anyone attempt to recreate the following as it is not safe to you or anyone else on the road.

That being said.

So I work until 2am every night, and I take the 5 north to 57 and than north to the 91 east to get home. . Anyone familiar with that interchange knows what I am talking about. Downhill sweeping slightly banked U. Well there is no cars on the freeway when I come home, and I have always wondered how fast I could take the turn. We'll to night I found out. Doing eighty as I approach the turn , drop it down to third, let out the clutch and turn the wheel all the way right. Of course the car immediately goes into a slide, so I grabbed the wheel with both hands and started to counter steer. I continued to keep the counter steering going and slighty feathered the gas, as soon as the car hit the flat straight road it hooked up like a dream, shifted to fourth and I was gone. The only car on the road was a white surburban that was directly behind me the whole time.

I can only imagine what the driver of that SUV was thinking as I sped away.

So ya thats my story, fucking amazing this car is. I am so glad I bought it and cannot wait to get some track days in.

For you WLA peeps, driving westbound on Jefferson Blvd making a right hand turn onto Lincoln Blvd north when the green turn arrow is on. You can drop down to 2nd gear hit this turn at about 50MPH and "drift" onto Lincoln Blvd. Lincoln Blvd is really wide at that intersection, so you have about 5-6 car lanes worth of road to "negotiate" the turn.
