hey guys. i recently got a new set of rims i would like to powdercoat and/or paint. has anyone done this and have a good/bad experience to share?

if anyone can point me in the direction of a good powdercoater or painter or even better do it for me please feel free to tell me. im located in the oc area. thanks a lot guys!

Go to www.gemtechpowder.com Theyre in Huntington Beach. They powder coated my stock wheels for $231. They can powder coat any color you want.

i had a set of rims coated a long time ago into white. It was pretty good, but white gets dirty really really quick! You need to frist take off the paint then go powder it!

powder coating looks great. Ultraflip also powder coated his wheels, you amy wanna PM him as well

Another great place to go is in Santa Ana, I know a lot of people that have gotten their rims powdercoated here, and they've been really happy. They say the prices are good too...

i did mines...
high gloss black engine paint 4 bucks x4
clear coat 3 bucks x2
sand paper 1000grit 3 bucks
=25 bucks

it does take a long time to do so plan it for the whole day
