Now for quite a while ive been having my eyes on the RALLI ART intercooler piping but im not to sure but damn its a nice aftermarket part to have, Now i hear it gives u quicker throttle respose and i guess some HPs and elimates the expansion with its own silicone hoses, But i guess i wana see if anyone has it out there, and let me know what u think about it. i guess opinions wont hurt either if u dont have one so post away. does INTERCOOLER PIPING HELP OUT?

listen to scot and stay stock

otherwise save your money on the ralliart kit and get the buschur upper and ams lower. but youll need to do something with the stock battery and air box if you go with a buschur upper.

youre looking at a max gain of like 10hp if you get piping.

I have this kit(Ralliart). Its very nice but its also expensive as shit!! You can check it out at the next Fusion meet and make your decision from there.

I thought you only gained something like 3-5 hp with IC piping.

BabyBlueDragon19

No cutting required. You definetly feel better throttle response and a little more power, but I felt more power come from my hi-flow cat.

hmm i wonder why vivid cut theres? does it sound any different loud throaty or what the status on the noise?

cas909

I think Vivid cut their pipe because they kept the stock battery. I didnt notice any difference in noise.

The only worthwhile upgrade is to replace the stock clamps with some better T-Bolt clamps like what www.roadraceengineering.com stocks. The stock IC piping is fine for 400+awhp but the stock clamps allow the IC pipes to blow off at higher pressures.

fusion meet is @ clairmont, my friend bugzy started that whole gathering....it's in front of cheetah's...a boba cafe. In all seriousness though, I'm not trying to make a sale and you should listen to blak and just buy new clamps....you won't see any difference whatsoever.

Do like scott says and get some t-bolt clamps, I have seen evos put down 350 whp with the stock piping and have no problems what so ever. Though the rubber pieces do expand a lot, might hurt throttle response a bit, you can upgrade to the silicone connectors from samco, they look nice and are cheaper than a piping kit.

BabyBlueDragon19
02-24-2005, 01:51 PM
well the reason i want to buy piping is becasue of the expansion on the stock and i have new clamps to hold the hoses but one of them came lose and kinda screwd my aluminum heat sheild on my hood

alex_alex
02-24-2005, 01:54 PM
the only problem with the stock pipe is that the hose section right before the TB is prone to blow off under lots of boost

yea yea thats happen to me and i though i was the only one glad to know im not

Ralliart is a good choice and definitely u need not to move or modify the battery. With the Ralliart kit, you will have better throttle response. FYI, I am having the Ralliart IC piping kit too.

The other advantage of the Ralliart kit over the RMR or other kits is the retention of the stock airbox. With the RMR (which I had), you need their air filter kit, too.

I never had a single issue with my RMR kit in 30,000 miles of mixed conditions.

i think the best pipe kit comes from ams... it is aluminum but so is the ralliart unit. and there's a two piece so you get some leeway on flex and they're tried to make the bend into the throttle body as smooth as possible... no liek the straight 90* for EVERY other company makin' pipes.

additional note... i'm not getting pipes to increase hp or handle max hp... i'm getting them for response. so those guys that wanna get pipes... don't feel bad about yourself just cuz scot made funna u :D
