I was reading the latest Modified mag (with Weld S14 on the cover) and I noticed a SICK Defi electronic cluster for the Evo VIII. Let's just say if I still had my Evo, I would be calling all my JDM guys to find that thing for me.

I'll bring the mag to the Fusion meet on Tuesday for the SD guys to check it out.

Basically it's like the Ralliart unit in that the whole assembly comes out and is replaced by a digital and electroluminescent gauge cluster. It is VERY sick...

As for pics, no scanner, sorry.

OK that's gotta cost a serious Yen or two!

But sounds just bad ass.

I'd guess it's about $1200. If I had my Evo, I'd pay that for it. It's that hot (and functional).

wow dood i need to see pics of this someone take a pic or scan it or something n post it up. I would get it but i kinda care about having known mileage right now. And when the time does come to swap out the cluster ill probably be going with a Stack cluster but ill keep the defi in mind if its sick.

I am looking right now - there is a pic of a sick STACK electroluminescent cluster in what looks like a G35 or something. I'll post the links shortly...

here you go (first one is for the Evo, second is the Stack cluster):

Chris. I don't have Modified Mag but I found this in Defi's Japanese site.

It's still proto type. They don't have the price and date for production type yet.

That kind of looks like it - check the previous page at the bottom. That's the one I'm referring to.

There was only a short blurb, but it is a full replacement for the stock cluster.

Like I said, SICK!!!!

I just found these picture.
They said they made this cluster using their proto type Super Sports Cluster for Tokyo Auto Salon.

That thing is dope. I would buy it in a heartbeat. I bet there is a way to program it for correct mileage.
