I have read all the forums. Just would like to know what tire you guys like for your Evo's. witch one is better for the money. Just a daily driver. Thanks! :?:

i've been able to use both. personally i'd go with the azenis for daily driving. it's more or less an overall tire for me. i know a lot of guys with the t1s as well that like them a lot. i'm just not so much of a toyo fan though.

I really liked the Toyos. They had tons of grip, wore very well, and did well in the rain/cold.

I have Falken Azenis ST-115 and they are excellent for daily driving dry or wet. Tread wear is excellent too. Very quiet. Softer ride.

Performance wise not as good as Advans but they will last at least twice as long. Tire walls are softer. But they grip well.

I have 245/45/17 right now. I may switch to 225s next time.

I have T1'S on stock rims right now, They handle good, but they wear out pretty fast. Also once they are worn below 60% they are pretty damn loud on the street. I will try the Azenis next time.

He also wrote "which one os better..." Implying the two tires talked about in the Subject of this thread, but before I turn into goku I'm going to shut up.

I have 245/40/17 T1-Ss. They aren't anywhere near the Advans in terms of dry-weather performance, but they sure last a long time. The inside shoulders, despite having an agressive alignment, are hardly showing any wear after 8,000 miles (as opposed to the 8000 mile total life of my Advans)

I like Toyo the company but the T1S tread pattern and compound are a bit long in the tooth compared to others' more recent designs. It gets bonus points for being lighter than most in a 245/40-17. I used to love 'em on my '89 325i but that was many moons ago.

for street use, u won't be disappointed. but don't get the 245s - too soft IMO.
