GT40 has shown me the dark side of the Type-S. A little blurry, but you get the idea...

cops can argue whatever they want; they have guns, handcuffs, battons, and the law on their side

The whole idea of painting it black is to make it appear to be a stock item...

You're assumptions are correct!

See! Now that's what I'm talking about. It would seem as though we have 2 options here.
1- Have your car stand out like a sore thumb and get tickets
2- Go the stealth route and have a fast car without drawing attention to yourself.

Option 2 seems to be more affordable.

oh i thought this said buttons... now that i read it a little more careful it says battons...

i was going to say whats so scary about buttons?

anyway i like the flat black look, let us know how it works next time you get pulled over.

I like shiny stuff but I guess I could get a spray gun in there and paint my whole compartment black. I dont think BOVBILLY would approve.

Don't get me wrong, I love the looks of pretty go fast parts anodized and polished, always have. It's just getting to the point I'm thinking about going back to my old skool days and getting a early 70's muscle car, putting a GMC 671 blower sticking out the hood, tubbing fat ass cheater slicks in the rear and thumbing my nose at the cops.

lol, when i went to get my car dyno'd at Harman Motive yesterday, they said, "i like the sound of your stock BOV". They didn't even notice the type-S i had! So, cops shouldn't notice it then 8)

When they open the hood and see shiny stuff i just say I polished the stock parts to make it look nice for shows and stuff...if you say its all for show and not for go...they might tend to back off. In sams case...well bro i think you might just be F++KED...but thats just a guess ;)
