I was reading up on aftermarkets rotors lastnight. The Rotoras caught my eye. How do they compare to stock, and warping, rusting, cracking issues with these??? Any info would be cool, or are they over hyped because of their name. Also they have 3 different types which is ideal for street and occasional laps around buttowillow!

there is a new rotor from girodisc. they sell a fully floating two piece rear also. so a step up from the baer rears... just lettin' you guys know more options. they of course have the normal stock fitting fronts too. for the rears you have to run a modded pad... so the pad doesn't hit the center hat.

sorry guys, i dint see this topic til after i already posted this same thing on a newer topic. Well heres a repost.

I got my Project Mu rotors installed with Hawk HP+ pads on. I have about 3000 miles on them with 100 miles of tracking and some dessert drifting. I havent noticed any stress cracks or anything unusual yet. They stop when you want them to without fading even at high temps. This is a great setup. Kinda expensive tho.

the project mu's look to be like quality pieces, and yes they run about high 700's shipped. The green is actually quite nice, it's a really nice anodized emerald green...looks pretty decent to me. (not saying this because I'm selling them of course. =P)

Just admit Shin the green is gay looking and far from "quite nice."

Performance Friction and the model # is 93
since they make several, IMO the 97 are the best (for track use only)
Hawk makes some great pads as well
Ferodo is another brand of pads, several guy have used them and are happy with the results. If you want something a bit more hardcore than look into the Ferodo DS3000
here is a link if you want to look at the different brands of pads that are available for the evo
www.raceshopper.com (excellent prices as well)
