This might be a simple process but just want to make sure im doing it right. I'm planning on painting my rear tail lights, Evo VII style. Can anyone suggest a particular paint? Should I paint the inside or out? and my initial question, how do I go about this process, detaching and all? Please help! Thank you thank you

To detach them from the car requires you to open the trunk, remove two 10mm bolts, unplug harness. Seperating the lens is a whole nuther story requiring a heat gun to melt the glue. Lots of tails have been screwed up by people not knowing how to do this correctly.

u dont want to open ur tails. They are permenantly sealed by factory and u will damage them when u open them no matter what u do.

Autobacks sells a special tail lens paint or you can use some testors hobby paint they use to paint rc cars.
