I dont know which tires to get for the rims. I was thinking bout the Kuhmo MX or bfg kdw2. Which one is better? or do u guys reccomend any other tire. I dont go tracking, just for daily driving but want something comparable to the stock advans.

Thanks

if you're interested, i would suggest a hankook tire for daily driving. they grip very well and they are not expensive. in all honesty though, you do get what you pay for so maybe these are not of interest to you but i run ventus HR II 405's in a 245/40/18 on my car currently. i will be switching to new wheels and thus will go with K104 Sport's in a 255/45/17. i have a lot of experience with both these tires and they both perform very well.

Just a note: the A048 or the RA-1's arent exactly what you call inexpensive tires.......... Actually totally opposite.

thanks for the responses guys, but i am looking for something not that expensive right now, cuz my wallet is kinda light because the rims cost so much. I know im gonna be losing handling and grip with cheaper tires.
I was just wondering which one of these cheap tires is better (if thats possible ) hhahah. but the next set of tires will be a good set.

So if anyones got any experience with the kumho's or bfg, and can comment on them, please do.

Thanks

I run the KD which is a kick ass tire probally around the same price as the RA-1.

What is everyone so sprung on KDW2s for??? Is it because of the "cool" tread pattern or something?

Come on - these are 3-season tires. SoCal has 1 season with some rain now and then. Get a good summer/max-performance rated tire. If you want something cheaper than KDs, A-048s, or RA-1s, then get some Toyo T-1S or T-1Rs and be happy. I've heard good things about various Kumhos and Falkens, so those are other options.

yeah i agree with you Chris, so I think I've made up my mind and gonna go with the Kumho MX...cuz they're a max summer tire. Cant really complain for $140 a tire. thanks guys

Now I just gotta wait for the back order stupid lug nuts from Rays.

i totally meant kd's not kdw's. and bevo does run kd's and says they're pretty good.

i think i might go with those MX's next time too...
