Just some feedback -
I originally changed my drivetrain fluids to Redline 75wt90 and MT-90 (non shock) at about 5,000 miles. My shifting has always been a little notchy when cold, but butter when warmed up. Decel/gear noise only recently started to get a little louder, but not ever out of the norm. I had some fresh Redline put in and things quieted back down and shifting feels great. The rear diff had a little paste on it, looked very normal to me. The TC had nothing and was clean. The Tranny had less paste than the rear and very, very small filings, nothing I would consider outside the norm after 33,000 miles of daily (non tracked) use. I've also run at 100-140 for several hours at a time, quite a few times. I would recommend Redline as a great alternative to the stock fluids, I've been using it in all my AWD cars for years with no issues.
Also after 5,000 miles of P0300 love, I finally got the reflash from Mitsu under warranty. So far so good, and the car now seems to hold its power more consistantly under 91oct all the way to 7200rpm. Gotta love this Evo!
