Hay all, i've seen people roll that shorty antenna, not the Perrin one, but the the rubber one thats a little taller, is it JDM or something, what car is it off of?? can authentic ones be purchased if it is JDM or is everyone rolling knockoffs?? Just a newbie question.

i know they sell the jdm ones but i don't know if that's from a stock evo or something. I was told by one of the guys who has a perrin antenna that it's pretty useless. I personally have the s2k one. I bought it from machevo not knowing i can just buy one from my local honda dealer for a much cheaper price.

s2k or pilot antenna work great. s2k is actually a smidge cheaper. theres a tiny gap i think but not noticeable from more than 2 feet away. and the reception is just as good as before...

You can get a .25 cent rubber washer at Home Depot and that will fill the gap perfectly .... I just took my shorty in and tested it on a number of washers until I found the perfect size.
