Yeah Ive noticed girls really dont care for the evo. Every girl that rides in my evo is like "this is what youre talking about all the time, you spent how much money on this?" Or when you tell them what you drive there like "An evo? Whats that? Is it a truck?" Until I explain it to them and then its completely lost on them why its so great. But when I bring out the eclipse every girl I drive by wants to hit on me and I get comments on how great my car looks, my ex absolutely loved this car. Go figure, girls are crazy.

i never get the gf sick, i give people headaches quite frequently too, and after a twisty-style road, people cant get out of my car right away w/o taking a few breaths.

My wife actually doesn't mind the twisties in the Evo. In my Eclipse she would get motion sickeness going over the crest. In my semi-Muellerized Evo, she can hang with the best of them through the twisties.

My wife is pretty tired of me talking about the Evo. She was never a fan of the styling up until she rode in mine, and now she's pretty excited about it, loves the seats over my old 350Z etc..

My older female co-worker said it looks like a Jetta. I told her she needed glasses. Of course all of the younger women my age in the office know exactly what is it and are pretty excited for me. personally I'm crazy about the styling, from all angles.

My assessment is SoCal women (in general) basically respond to Euro Luxury brands only, as thats how theyre programmed, To respond to cars that signify "money", and could care less about performance..

Pretty accurate. My girlfriend was a big MB fan(SL500) when we met. At the time I had a 3000GT and when we would talk about cars she started to see what it was all about. Now she loves the Evo and jap cars in general, she bought an accord v6 over an MB and not for lack of money. When I bought the Evo she even loaned me 3k to help with the down payment. Just last night we were having a discussion on why the Evo is such a giant killer, it's performance envelope is easily accesible. She even understands my obsession over picking just the right performance upgrade and can spot a "pep boys special" a mile away! One day I'm gonna marry this girl!
