First of all the stock shifter on the EVO and most cars is a POS :( Once you intsall the Kartboy Short Shifter with Neon Bushing the car becomes a new beast. I have around 300WHP in my EVO and with quicker smoother shifts it feels like even a crap driver like me can keep the RPM's up ;) The stock shifter in my opinion is to notchy and with bushing and shoftshifter the shifts are smoother and It is harder to miss shift. If you don't get short shifter the complete Bushing set for $45 is well worth it. I also got the Kartboy knob and of the 4 knobs (stock, MOMO, Raliart Knob, KartBoy) I have had I like this one the most.
The stock knob is to light {thumbdwn}
The Momo knob is to big in size {thumbdwn}
The Ralliart Knob is to high {thumbdwn}
The Kartboy knob sit low, easy to grip, heavier than stocker and looks pimp :D
(you can get differnt stickers for different looks I chose the kartboy logo)
The combination of the bushing, shoftshifter and knob have made driving my EVO very fun. When you think about it, these mods are the Heart and Soul of the car so you better make sure they look feel and work correctly :D
Since I live in San Diego I have met Tom at the car meets and he is one cool dude who help customers in San Diego with install of his products. That is some customer service for you :cool:
