Wow. Nice numbers Alvin.

Were finally getting consistent numbers for the Evo to show what the SAFCII can truly do. I can't wait to get my injectors and cams in so they are ready for Dr. Gray.

I would re-dyno the car at 91 octane though so you can compare with everyone else.

Good numbers

I see another mod coming in next month  .

Shoulda tune on 91 just incase you forgot to fill that 1 gal of 100.

yeah but i dont think it did much. last time WITH 4 GALLONS OF 100 and quarter tank of gas... it only added 5whp and I even lost tq.

So I don't mind... I can just fill in 100 anytime. I live by the 76 gas station that sells 100oct. :D

I tuned your setup for straight 91, so you don't have to use any 100 if you don't want. I doubt it made any difference on the dyno since it wasn't tuned to take advantage of any octane increase.

Just keep the boost at like 1.5 bar and it will be fine.

good judgement :!: I thought u followed him on the 92 octane and left him there. I know dynoflash would.

so what are the chances of having my evo see these types of #'s?

Add a fuel pump, 720cc denso injectors, SAFC and some HKS 272 cams and you are there...

Call RRE to schedule it, they will install it all and then I can meet you there and tune it when it is ready to be picked up.

I got almost the same setup plus the EMS and I got 275hp 313 tq at 24psi...You can't beat that!!

Anyways, Scot did an excellent job of tuning it even though the car had major problems which we have no clue of....

TT Chris & Alfred are nice guys which I would highly do business with them again!!

Now I am gonna go kill myself.....

Well you did pick up almost 30 HP by fixing those 5 boost leaks!

On the bright side, the car runs great, just is slow :p

Something to look at. Put the car in 3rd gear and push it forward until the cams are at TDC, then look at the crank position. It could be that one or both of the cams are off by a tooth in relation to the crank.

Mods:
Buddy Club 264/272 cams, Walbro 255, Denso 720's, TBE, MRbov
x clutch, ARP, SAFC II, k&n Drop in, and MBC
(Basically a stage 1+ w/o cam gears)

We did 3 pulls,

with ~ 92 octane @ 1.55 bar([email protected]) = 333whp and 330wtq
(did two pull, very close result. +/- 1-4hp)

I have almost the exact same set up plus a few things, and I have to run 100 octane to get #'s close to that . I need to get a re-tune.

Roy, I hope you'll find your boost leak soon, so you can hit that 350whp mark.

Alvin gave me a ride before he got on the dyno. His car pulls hard and spools fast.

Then when I drove my car, it felt like I was driving a stock car.

I'm glad you finally got your car all done and you're happy with it. :)

Hands off my TME! One thing Alvin, check your AFRs. I think when you have your car dialed in at true 91 boost levels (21 or 22 psi), you can make more power with leaner fuel trims.

well the ecu is more optimized for parts that arent on the car right now, I may try going back to stock box with one of those drop in filters but I have yet to have a good explanation why my cai is making the car lose power.

It was nice seing you guys again. I think TT has to place warm cots & sleeping bags above the office, right Alvin?  In any case, good numbers. I think it was worth the wait, right? Tom, good to see you again and thanks for helping installing that bitch of a shiftknob. Who would've thought?

Even better, have a Tokyo style capsule hotel built next door and pay by the hour. You get: trial shampoo/conditioner, minilocker, headphones and miniTV, robe, and fuzzy slippers. We can make a ton of money!
