Speeding Ticket 1,671.00 Dollars!!

I just paid 1671 for a speeding ticket! 112 mph on the freeway! just becareful out there dont go over 100 do 99, and say fuck u to the cops!

Crap that's the most expensive, speeding ticket I've ever seen. The worst I got was @ 84mph and it was 200 something. Your next mod should be a passport X50.

I am suprised you didn't go to jail or impound ur car.

yes i was doing about 130, on a long down hill... so probably would of hit 160 towards the end...........

All i know is never go over 100 and just tell the cop to fuck off, im going to traffic school bitach!!!

Plus even wrose the frist time i got lost w/ my girl and took us 4 hours to get there....... on top of that 2 points, and i can't go to traffic school!

no frount mount
no registration (was at home in the glovebox)
no proof of insurance (hone in glovebox)
reckless driving
speeding
crossing a double yellow

fought it and its now:

cops pull a lot of bullshit on evos. just because it has a big wing and we are typically young we got harrassed like no other in socal. he asked me to pop my trunk for nitrous! i said no and that really pissed him off. This was a motorbike cop up the crest who had just finished impounding an M3 (poor guy).

Sounds like you need a V1 or any other reputable radar detector. #2 maybe you just need to slow down. There's getting speeding tickets and then there's getting speeding tickets for doing 112mph. Not saying I've never gone that fast on a public road... but if you are and you get a ticket there's really no reason to bitch about it.

Sounds like you got off light though. Count your lucky stars it wasn't a ticket on top of impounding and possibly demolishing the vehicle. But damn dude.. slow down.

Youre bitching at the cops and your were doing well over 100mph? If youre going to be driving that fast you better be prepared for consequences. I like to drive fast myself but I wont bitch if I get a ticket for doing those kind of speeds. Getting a ticket for 5 or 10 over is a little shitty but 45+ over the speed limit is another story.

Ouch.. that sucks. I got pulled over for the same thing the other day. In Buena Park on the 5 fwy by a Whittier PD... :-P I guess he was chasing me from by the shop at Carmenita and Imperial. Took him that long to catch up to me ;-)

He axed for my license and sat in his car for about 10 minutes. Came back and told me I was prolly doing well over 100. But he liked my Duc and to keep the speed down on the city streets. He let me go :-) A good day to be over 40 and white.

Dang...and even cheaper than a detector would be going somewhat close to the speed limit and leave speed for the track! Crap...thats gotta hurt! Of course keeping your mouth shut might have helped a bit too.

BTW I know plenty of those kiddies with "we support the cops" and "11-99" frames who are ALWAYS get tickets....it seems they should know better if thier pro-law enforcment....at least that's what they tend to get told after being handed they ticket. (That includes those fire fighter union stickers as well)

Also be advised, I've heard that this month is seat-belt month and every cop is looking to get his fill...so buckle up if you don't! :P
