Well, after the last run session at the EOC event, I went to change the wheels and tires back to my stock rims when "Crack" three of my wheel studs broke.

So, I am driving around right now with only three lugs holding one wheel and four lugs holding the other...

My question is: How do you change out the broken ones, where can I buy replacement bolts, and do they aftermarket ones that are stronger?

Wheel studs?

Push the old ones out, insert one one, press it in (or pull it). It will take a good amount of force.

I'd go for OEM Wheel studs, though for no good reason. Kragen/Vatozone if you're in a bind.

Would those work? Any other suggestions before I order those?

you dont need them, and if you order them (make sure you order the entire set ) not just 3 of them.
IMO you can purchase your wheel studs with either the dealer or auto zone (just the three that you need)

I was think of doing all 20....I would assume I need a new set of lugs....Any links to some that would fit both stock rims and the RPF1's?

How did you break them? Was it because of heat, or did you not have a torque wrench.

I was pulling the tires off....I don't believe they were overtorqued....must have been due to excessive heat...

You don't want the longer studs unless you need the longer studs. Your current lugnuts might even bottom out on them.

The dealership SHOULD have these in stock. Otherwise, you can order them from Norco Mitsubishi www.norcomits.com Parts are 20% off there.

No need to replace all 20. Replace them as you need to, but keep a few spare.
