so a shop nearby is selling these and they seem pretty awesome. LIGHT as hell too. and only like $250 each. the pictures are of the 4-bolt pattern but it comes in 5-bolt. whats the spacing of ours?

I'm wondering if they're even worth attempting to put on... heres the size chart stuff from their website

Size Offset Backside Bolt Pattern Weight
17x7 +42 .. 5 1/2 .. 5x100 ...... 14 lbs.
17x7 +42 .. 5 1/2 .. 4x4.5 ...... 14 lbs.
17x7 +42 .. 5 1/2 .. 5x4.5 ...... 14.3 lbs.
17x7 +42 .. 5 1/2 .. 4x100 ...... 14.3 lbs.

and here's the website http://www.motegiracing.com/wheels/details.asp?parent=50&wheelid=50&name=TRAK_LITE%20Gun%20Metal&style=2381&desc=#

anyone have any info?

first of all, why are you choosing a smaller rim in width than stock ??
For 250.00 each you can purchase several rims like RPF1's or Gramlights which can be found 17x8.5 so you can run wider tires (like 255/40/17's )

RPF1 17x8.5 +40 off set around 16lbs (well worth it!) and not expensive compare to other wheels (just in case you bend one at the track  )

i kinda liked them when i saw them. look pretty nice, but apparently everyone else thinks they suck. heed the advice of the masses in this case, i think.

speaking of which,
i have 4 toyo proxes 4, 255/40/17s for sale, with less than 400 miles on them.

pm me if you're interested.

old thread ...I KNOW...

but back to the original question ...will 17x7 +42 offset fit the evo?
...
AND because i know everyone will ask why i would want a smaller wheel. SNOW TIRES. and the shop that does my tires here has a used set for 30/wheel. so naturally, im a little curious.

you should try it...i dont think it will.

and for anyone looking for light wheels...

enkei rpf1's 17x8.5 +30 offset (in silver) or ame tracer tssc 17x9 +35 offset (any color) are probably the lightest cast wheels out there for an evo. both are under 16lbs/wheel

well i told the guy id stop back in tomorrow after i get off work as he was still pretty busy today to do a test fit. i figured at 30bucks/wheel and if they fit, cant beat that for winter tires.

i was really pulling for them to fit too. hella cheap set of 'beater' wheels and they didnt look half bad.
