why aren't you thinking about it now? in very few cases (mostly involving race pads which these aren't) the squealing is caused by the parts. the other 95% of the time its due to incorrect installation which I gaurentee is what happened here.

The SS-S pads make a lot of noise for the first couple of weeks. They should calm down after a little while. If you don't believe me (I had 2 sets of them), then check with JanSolo and Bevo. They used the SS-S, too.

It's normal.

Check to make sure the rotors are facing the right direction - that can cause premature warping and uneven pad wear.

I have found that doing some really heavy braking periodically will kinda freshen them a little and get rid of some squealing. Performance pads are meant to get hot, and on the street we rarely get them hot enough. By doing some really heavy braking here and there you can kinda "clean out the cobwebs" as it were....

But that could just be Honda bullshit.

i bought chris' old ss-s pads and they've never made a peep. just to be safe i bedded them in when i got them too.
