well i have no vaccum leaks and my car is kinda acting funny sometimes it feels like it wants to shut off but yet no check engine lights have come on and actually it has shut off on me like twice, when is a good time to upgrade to a fuel pump? well acouple people are say its time that i get one with the mods i have, or what the hell are your guys opinion? :( :buds:

you talking about stalling?? a list of mods would help to make it easier to figure out thats going on.

it could be VTA BOV, fuel pump, injectors, driver, sparkplugs.....it could be any number of things

might be temperature related? when i was in vegas @ 120 degree the engine is like dying

its the HKS intake combined with the extra engine load from running the A/C. Get some cams and you'll really have a nightmare. Or just learn to live with it (heel and toe to keep the engine alive). A fuel pump isn't gonna help your stalling problem at all.

You may want to check if you have a domant CEL code.
Run a scan on it at Autozone to see.

It sounds like a variety of things.
Could be the heat.
Could be a leak in your line that you missed.
Probably something to do with the low setting on your AFC.

i had a problem with stalling when i installed my k&n typhoon intake and had no chk engine light. went back to stock with k&n drop in and problem solved.

so intakes are a bad idea for evos?No, they are good. as long as you have a way of tuning for it. you have an safc, so it should be a positive addition. maybe check your connection of the intake to turbo.
I had similar issues, it turned out that I had two pinched injector o-rings.
