before anyone gets on my back and tell me to do a search, i already did! :D i just had a few questions regarding relocating my stereo.

i recently installed a new headunit (alpine) using the stock radio brackets. everything is great except for the fact the i cant read the display cause of the weak light and bad angle during daytime. im thinking it might be solved if i moved the HU to the cubby hole.

1. i want to move the radio down to the cubby hole so i would need the stereo relocation kit, right? now, the relocation kit is just a different "cubby hole" so to speak or am i confused?

2. since i dont have any gauges yet, im thinking i should just just cover up the top (old radio loaction) with some sort of panel (RS type of radioless cover). is that possible?

Yes and yes.

yeah, what he said.

I think you can get a relocation kit from someone on the boards here. or check with HB Mitsu. I am sure they have some in stock.
