With all the idiots that have been coming on here we need to start making this an invite only membership. New Evo owners have to be brought in by current members. I know this will never happen but it has worked well on NABR and now they have a group of people that know their shit, help out and have a little respect for each other. that's a very good idea, honda-tech has the same thing. You start with a trial status account. Which at the end of 3 months your account is review by the admins on the boards. Also you are limited on the things that you can do, like : only 5 posts allow per day, no posting allow in the for sale sections, as well as not being able to IM peeps (since they have that available)

this 1000+ post thing might hurt guys like me :'(. i use this site alot for advise on tehc stuff and im no where near the 1000+ post limit because i dont post stuff like witch bov sounds better. i think my car might have blown up already if you guys didnt help me. im just worried if you guys open this new section all the good members with all thier know how will go with it and ill be left with the newbies that dont know anything. i am all about helping out the other members when ever i can, please dont leave me out 8).

alright how does this sound? a private section by invite only from the mods. for the first 6 months new members will be on a provisional membership and after that they can be invited into the private section. if they are not invited they can still use the genral form like it is now but wont be able to get to this new section. also it would be nice to have the private tech section availible for veiwing by all, but the posting will only be done by the private members. this sounds like a fair way to limit the idiots. what do you guys think?
