At any rate, congrats to Kent for beating the Vipers (again) at Laguna Seca. I look forward to reading their excuses this time on the Viper boards...

Also, Kent set a new Lap Record! Awesome stuff...

In the Saturday race, Kent decided not to go out for the qualifying run, so they started him dead last in the race, position #51. He passed all of the 50 other cars in the race to win. :2funny:

I went on www.viperclub.com and did a search, but it looks like no one is talking about it so far. If you want to have some fun, join the forum (they have a cumbersome procedure that takes about 24 hours) and make a post about Kent's victory. The worse your attitude, the better.

You will get flamed mercilessly by all those whining Viper owners. You wouldn't believe all the excuses they have for getting beat by an EVO. Over, and over, and over. :grin:

Kent is running in the NorCal Region, so most of the races are at Sears Point, Laguna Seca, and Thunderhill. Sorry I don't know more than that.

I was told he didn't qualify because of a turbo issue, which put him at the back of the grid. Amazing win in only a 14 lap race. Great job and congrat's to the Muellerized... crew!

Thanks.* Willow Springs ain't in the cards but we'll try and test next week at Buttonwillow.* Last race for SanFran SCCA is in 2 weeks at Thunderhill and we plan on going REAL FAST.

The EVO is running STRONG.

That video is just awesome!!!* You are so damn fast at Laguna.* *I'd love to see the entire race video, so that I can count all 50 passes on the way to another great win.* After the last pass of the Porsche, when you go balls out the rest of the way with no one in front of you to hold you up is really incredible. wow ...running stock turbo huh. or is it like marks 30r with the stock heat shield?

They ran the stock turbo for about half the season and then the Forced Performance FP3052 for the rest of the season. In the Laguna Seca pics that is with the FP3052. It is important to retain as many heatshields as possible to have a reliable road racing car. The heat without the shields will kill everything very fast. Keep in mind that road racing is full throttle for 45 minutes at a time, mostly 3rd, 4th and 5th gear.

Full spool around 3700 RPM(standard full throttle run from 2000 rpm in third gear)
