Here are the comparison pics I've promised a few people. note that if you do buy one from ebay it has to be a plug and play - if it doesnt and requires some modification then what you got sold was the JDM Diamante sidemarker. The GTO one is plug and play.

ive had them ever since i had the 03. I just decided to post this to answer all the "FAQ"s ive been getting ever since.

i will post pics once i clean the dirty ride. ;)

so... ive been looking all over the internet and still cant find these. the only place i found them was in a forum for 3000gts; even there i cant seem to find someone that still has them.

anyone have any info??

I just got a set of these recently. Macky, mine are the same identical ones as yours...they are plug and play, but when installed, they fit somewhat loosely. They "jiggle" a bit when installed. I'll try and adjust the clip a bit for a more firm fitment.

yup. im also a member on those boards from years back, i can only count in one hand the number of people that even have these. its that rare.

damn i was bidding on one of these and got outbid! it was used and got sold for $40. i had my highest bid amount at $35! damn... :tickedoff:

those look good but i just painted mine myself and it only cost 5 bux for the paint. the only thing different is that i dont have the black piece going around it.

how would this orange look like on the tail and head lights so they can look exactly like the JDM MR lifghts? (no clear turn signal)

i recently picked up a pair of the JDM GTO sidemarkers however, it was a loose fit. everything lloks the same but it doesnt clip on to the car tightly.

solutions anyone (macky) hehe?

Take a pencil torch and heat up the plastic clip area and bend it out so it snaps in tighter. I did this on my markers with the carbon fiber fenders, worked perfectly.

thats what a buddy of mine with a 3000GT did when he got used JDM sidemarkers as well. worked like a charm for him. O0

had the same problem with mine. if you dont want to risk melting the tab, you can try transferring the tab from the clear marker in to the jdm one. its "slightly" thicker. It worked for me but only on one side. so on the other side that was still loose, I put a couple of strips of electrical tape on the panel where the tab locks in and that made it fit more snug. you cant see the tape so no one will ever know about my ghetto fix ;)
