does anyone have the standings? i'd really like to see the times and how people placed and what not.

and also... aparently the cobalt is only running 265whp... is that bullshit? i mean it weighs 2300 pounds... but i don't see how that... even on ohlins can beat tallini's car...

I runs 260ish on the motor plus a hefty shot of nitrous. It's pretty amazing that a little cobalt beat all those super Japanese cars. I guess less mass = less centripital force...

less mass, a factory effort and a pro driver do help.

The Works EVO won the limited all wheel drive class and a Buschur prepaired EVO won the unlimited all-wheel drive class. It lost out to the Cobalt for the overall win by only .5 sec.

Yup. This goes right in line with GM's Speed World Challenge Cadillacs. I've yet to see a CTS-V, on the street, that's had 3-4" chopped off the bottom. When are they coming out with that?!

That being said, at least GM gives a damn...

From what I was told from a person who participated as a driver in the event, GM was adamant not to allow anyone but them to do the timing. No one was allowed not even a stop watch!!! Makes you wonder why :-o

Uh, have you ever been to the track? It's impossible to stop someone else from using a stop watch. You must be high.
