I guess I did okay for a big heavy sled. Turned a 2:03.5. Not bad for stock turbos, engine & ECU. Just had exhaust work and suspension setup.

Nice car, dude. My dad had a '92 300ZX TT - first turbo car I had driven...

No fun like you had to race one and got beat.
Yeah, they are really fast past 3rd gear. Total freeway bomber.
Not too bad in the 1/4 either. My best time on stock turbos is 11.9 @ 116mph

My mechanics Z32 run 10.4's

You pulled an 11 with stock turbos, internals and no tuning?
How did you pull that off?
Subframe bushings and slicks wouldn't have done it....

Very curious since I owned the same car prior to the evo.

Yeah Mark's Z32 is pretty crazy.

Yeah 96's didn't have ECU's for the longest time. (OBDII) Was running 19psi on stock turbos w/100oct gas stock ecu and stock injectors. had air filter, exhaust, IC's. Did have sub frame bushings, and Slicks. Able to run 1.6 60" times. Some of my Z friends run a little diferent setup on stock turbos and have run 11.5's Crazy huh.

You can still get a nice one for cheap these days. May have high miles but those suckers are tough. Mine lasted me 145K miles till this rod bearing issue. But I was running the piss out of it.

yeah .. I read about your rod knock on tt.net* bummer.* Only one Z mechanic I know with a 10 second z32...* Greg Dupre?

I still miss my Z :( ..* I had it for about 4 months and I drove it a TOTAL of 8 days, 1 of which was a track day.* *Mine had a ton of problems and I absolutely HATE HATE HATE HATE working on the VG.* The Evo is a bazillion times easier.* I'd rather swap pistons an a 4G63 than do another timing belt job on a vg30dett ANY DAY

see here (what I had to go through just to get mine working... then* a single track day.. KABOOM.. double blown head gaskets)

Yeah, was talking about Greg's car. I guess if you are a SoCal Z you better have Greg as your mechanic. Sorry about your bad Z experience.

Long overdue, but i'll reply anyway.
I just run race gas, 100 oct. Can run the turbos up to 19psi, with no detonation. Now, this is only for dragging. Can't handle that amount of boost for a long time. ie roadrace. I had no ecu upgrade or injector upgrade. Do have the subframe bushing and a 6-puck clutch. Big ol MT Street slicks, and I leave really hard at 6000r's. It works. There a friend of mine who has the exact same setup, except he has the JWT ecu, but stock injectors, and he run's consistant 11.6's. Crazy. He's got skinny's up front and I know that helps a bit to cut down on rolling resistance.
