cool, I'm definitely going. I may or may not run, depending on the rock content of the course.

Sup ppl? Here are some pics of the rally. I notice that there are only 2 evos representing out in the rally while 98% of the other drivers are all subies.

Probably took me about 2 days to put all those painter tapes over the car. Hopefully we'll see some more evos at the next rally season. http://www.gcrallyx.com

I really want to get into rallycross for the 2006 season. I already have all the safety gear I need, but I need some advice. I already have an S13 drift car complete with cage and lots of modification that I am very comfortable competively driving in. I am debating whether to use my Evo which would fit in the stock 4WD class or the S13 which would be classified as open 2WD. I understand that for Rallycross I should use different wheels and tires, and raise the coilovers (maybe remove the bodykit?) and then return it to drift spec for drift events. At this point I don't really care about competing in this, just having fun. If you guys who rallycross could give me some advice, whether it be on which car to use and how, or where to go, that would be alot of help. Thanks

my friend drove is STOCK MR2 at the rally. Honestly we all thought he was going to spin out at the first turn but he did very well. You'll see hachi roku there and even a civic. You'll be suprised what kinds of cars goes out there. Though you'd probably want to use the car that isn't lowered. It was a pain in the ass putting painter tapes all over the car and i won't be doing that again. If you don't want to sacrifice the paint on the evo then drive the S13. But its more fun in the evo. So its up to you what car you want to use.
