damn, I would be down for this since I live in Cerritos, but I wont be back till 11:30ish. FYI cerritos has their own sheriff station so there seems like there would be more police presence around. However, it doesnt seem that. I do agree that the police are slightly ticket happy since there is lterally no crime in cerritos.

Yeah, I saw cops there last friday and they were pretty cool. Just as long as everyone is behaving like a human being, then don't sweat it. I miss metro to be honest! I am just waiting untill it dies out. I still see terrance over there, I still go but not on a friday night. I believe that they are doing something illegal there! Even regular people are being harassed because they got rims on their car. I just want to go to metro in peace, without cops harassing the shit out of me. Mamatay sana sila, lahat nang police............... That's all I can say. Don't really wish that on them but cops are being to cruel to all of us!

i used to run w/ a crew out in la mirada, and we'd always go down to cerritos towne center to hang out. from my experiences, the sheriffs are there, and there are quite a few of them. however, they won't harass you if 1. you don't make a scene (typical parking lot antics), and 2. you are actually there to buy something. remember, sheriff's station is also right bloomfield (w/ city hall & library), so backup is just one dispatch call away...

parking is a b*tch on friday nights; everybody and their moms along w/ their soccer mom SUVs and vans are out in full force. finding parking for everyone to park is, well, nearly impossible.

however, if you want to hang out and shoot the breeze, pick up some starbucks and go over to the sheraton's parking lot. if you park between the south side of the hotel and the office building right across from it, patrolling sheriffs won't be able to spot you cuz of the office buildings, and you'll have more than plenty of parking spaces available.

wish i could join you guys, but cerritos is too far for me to drive over to nowadays.

You gave me terrible directions for getting off the freeway, since there isn't a shoemaker but a studebaker. Plus there isn't a Kohls in Towne Center, but a Lowe's. Kohls is down the street a ways. After all the driving to get there we didn't find anyone.

I didnt find anyone as well. The directions should be good. Studebaker exit is wrong. The exit may not be clear, but it is the one where you see best buy/edwards cinema. ANd yes, there is a Kohls.

It's alright we had a good time anyway. We went by Kohls first and then Lowes by Edwards Cinama. I think it was a little miscomunication and the rain as well that made this meet fall apart. Even with our little adventure we will still drive back out there for other meets. See you at future meets!!
